A well-darkened bedroom improves sleep quality — especially in the city, where street lighting can be disruptive. But blackout and dim-out aren't the same thing, although many clients confuse them.
Blackout — total darkness
Blackout curtains block 95–100% of light thanks to a special layer on the inside of the fabric. Ideal for bedrooms, children's rooms or offices where you need full light control.
Dim-out — diffused light, privacy
Dim-out curtains filter light without blocking it completely. They create a warm atmosphere and privacy while keeping the room bright. Recommended for living rooms or spaces where you want comfort without total darkness.
Double system — the most flexible solution
Many projects combine voile (for daytime) with blackout or dim-out curtains (for evening) on the same double track. You get full control: diffused light in the morning, total darkness at night.
In the showroom we can help you test both options on real samples — the difference is immediately noticeable.
